These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Brivex Media ("Brivex," "we," "us," or "our"), a McKinney, Texas-based news website, including our free content, optional Brivex Premium subscription, and any accounts, comments, or newsletters offered through the site. By using Brivex, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Using Brivex

Brivex is free to read. Creating an account is optional and lets you comment on articles, subscribe to our newsletter, and subscribe to Brivex Premium. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Comments and user content

When you post a comment, you keep ownership of what you write, but you grant Brivex a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and moderate it on the site. Don't post anything illegal, harassing, defamatory, spam, or that infringes someone else's rights. We can remove any comment and suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, with or without notice, for violating these Terms.

Our content

Articles, photos, graphics, and other content published by Brivex are owned by Brivex or used under license and are protected by copyright. You may share links to our articles and quote brief excerpts with attribution. Republishing full articles, scraping the site, or using our content to train AI models without our written permission isn't allowed.

Brivex Premium

Brivex Premium is an optional paid subscription that unlocks premium-tagged articles for $4.99/month, billed automatically each month until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; Brivex never sees or stores your full card number. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation are covered in full in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these Terms.

Disclaimer

Brivex is provided "as is." We work to report accurately, but we don't guarantee the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or always available, and we aren't liable for decisions made based on our coverage. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brivex's total liability to you for any claim related to the site or Premium subscription is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Brivex after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
